Case Study Triple Lay Over

Appointed Celsius as designers, design & build contractor, principal contractor and CDMC

 
The objectives
To create a future-proof design to ensure the success of phased expansion plans. Work had to be carried out with minimum disruption and in two phases
 
The challenges
The available space was compromised by existing boiler plant and the site was congested with numerous structures.
 

The result

  • New boiler house designed and constructed to allow relocation of steam boilers
  • Suite of multiple blast chillers, and cooking and related facilities provided
  • 700kw NH3 (ammonia) refrigeration system with evaporative cooling installed
  • Following successful completion of the first phase of works, additional blast chillers were installed during the next phase
